Dear Guest, Caterer and Special Event Provider:

If you haven't heard about Heron Cove, we'd like to introduce a new and exciting natural environment and lakefront resource in the Berkshires for Private, Corporate, and Not-For-Profit occasions. Whether a fundraiser or the annual picnic, a Corporate presentation or holiday gathering, companies wanting an all day event or retreat have additional options, beginning with an eco-tour, conducted by qualified natuIf a canoe or kayak is your pleasure, we can provide as many as necessary for your event. Want live music of your choice? We can help!

We can help you create the ideal event at Heron Cove: Dance at a one-of-a-kind country wedding; celebrate special holidays, graduations, birthdays, anniversaries -
Company gatherings - whatever your vision for that special event - we can help you to create it!

5) Heron Cove is that rare thing in the Berkshires: a privately owned, waterfront site adjacent to public open spaces; a multi-use, green area that is available on a Per Diem basis. We are located on the south shore of Cheshire Lake, adjacent to Route 8 and the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail. Our popular Heron Cove snack Bar, 'Lulu on the Lake,' is open to our clients on request.

Here, in the narrow valley surrounded by the Berkshire Hills, nature prevails, offering fresh air, colorful scenery and abundant wildlife - from good fishing to the Great Blue Heron and the soaring Bald Eagle, guests will find unique and uplifting experiences waiting for them at Heron Cove! We offer power on site. Our boat ramp provides direct access to the South Pond of Cheshire Lake: Your kayak and canoe, or ours. The north and south ponds are easily accessible to the portable boater from the Farnams Causeway, a short spur which divides the two main ponds of Cheshire Lake, and also connects Route 8 to the Lanesborough - Cheshire Road leading to Route 7 in the town of Lanesborough.

The Ashuwillticook Rail Trail is only yards away for walking, jogging, rollerblade and cycling for most of the year. Winter sports have their season as well. Centered on the 100' x 450' site along the shoreline of Heron Cove, a 12' x 24' stage has been installed for entertainment and presentations.

Opposite Heron Cove, a small public park hugs the shore
of the North Pond. Beyond, to the north and south, east and west of the valley, the Hoosac and Taconic ranges offer sweeping views to delight the eye.

Area parking can be supplemented as needed.

There is another reason to plan ahead: In season, there may be concerts at Heron Cove. It is advisable to book early to confirm the dates you need for your client or organization. Full license and insurances are required. We welcome your inquiries, and look forward to working with you to create that special celebration or presentation this season. Ask about Per Diem prices, and our add on options.
